In Saturday’s victory over the Wizards, Jamal Murray led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded 42 points, three rebounds and six assists while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 30 points and two rebounds of his own off the bench.

Now Denver will try to grab another victory at home on Sunday as they face off against a struggling Hornets team.

On the other side, Charlotte enters Sunday’s contest with a 15-27 record after losing on the road to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night.

Brandon Miller led the way for the Hornets in Saturday’s loss as he ended the game with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists while Kon Knueppel recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Charlotte has listed Moussa Diabate as probable due to a right hamstring strain and and he is expected to play after missing Saturday’s loss to the Warriors.

Denver has listed Murray as probable due to an ankle sprain and an illness and he is expected to play against the Hornets.

The Nuggets have also listed Bruce Brown as probable with a knee injury and he is also expected to play.

Gordon has been listed as questionable due to a hamstring strain and with Sunday’s game being the second of a back-to-back, Denver may elect to rest him.

Christian Braun, Nikola Jokic, Cameron Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas have been ruled out as they remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.
