The Eagles beat Idaho STate 84-66 while the 9th-ranked Bulldogs downed Seattle University 71-50. Washington dropped an 80-63 decision to 12th-ranked Michigan State.
The Gonzaga women were also victorious Saturday, downing visiting San Diego 87-42. Eastern fell to Idaho State 66-57. San Francisco beat Washington State in Pullman 85-72. On Sunday, Washington beat Minnesota 67-54.
In NWAC basketball Saturday, both the Wenatchee Valley and Big Bend basketball teams came up short. Walla Walla beat the Knight men 68-61 while the women were victorious 80-70. The Vikings fell to Big Bend: 68-55 on the men’s side and 58-54 in the women’s games.
