After a sweep of Oklahoma to end the home slate at Kentucky Proud Park, the Kentucky Wildcats hit a four-game skid to end the regular season over the last week.

Now, a major question looms over their postseason hopes, as they hope to make their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Luckily for the Cats, some of the major projections still have them in the field.

According to D1 Baseball, the Cats would head to Conway (SC) to be a part of the Coastal Carolina regional as the 3-seed. Baseball America also has them heading to South Carolina, but this time they would be heading to Clemson as the 3-seed.

Neither projection has the Cats among the last four in, so it appears they’re in decent shape to make the field of 64.

With some major wins in the last few weeks, the Cats will now be hoping they did enough to hold onto that tournament berth. With several teams getting hot in their conference tourneys and several bubble teams still playing, it could be a close call for Kentucky.

At the moment, though, it appears the Cats should still safely be in.
