The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. It will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.

The Thunder (36-8) picked up a 136-104 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. Despite a short-handed roster, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points and Chet Holmgren had 28 points.

Meanwhile, the Bucks (18-24) escaped with a 112-110 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead the way to get the much-needed victory.

Thunder 112, Bucks 101: It’ll be an interesting contrast of styles. Due to injuries, the Thunder are playing smaller lineups. That could benefit Antetounmpo and the Bucks with their large frontcourt. That said, the talent difference may be too much. Even with how depleted OKC currently is. Gilgeous-Alexander has proven to be a one-man win machine. Expect that to continue in Milwaukee, as it continues to struggle on the court. At a certain point, the outside noise and trade rumors are too much to ignore.
