Update: Zion Williamson (illness) ruled out Wednesday
Not a fun night for Zion Williamson. The Pelicans star came into the night battling an illness, and it may have gotten the better of him. Williamson left the game in the third quarter and retreated to the locker room, though he did not appear to be injured.
Zion Williamson just left the game and went into the locker room. Didn’t look like there was an injury on the previous play. He came into tonight questionable with an illness.

Perhaps it’s just a bathroom break? Williamson played only 15 minutes before leaving, recording four points and four rebounds. Not exactly the performance we’re used to from the former first overall pick.
