Phoenix Suns rookie Khaman Maluach registered his third 20-point performance in the G League on Wednesday, helping the Valley Suns to a home win over the Stockton Kings.

Maluach produced 23 points, 11 rebounds and one blocked shot in the 117-111 victory at Mullett Arena. He went 9-of-15 from the field, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and finished a team-high plus-21 in 29 minutes, 29 seconds of action.

The 10th overall pick scored 11 points in the fourth quarter alone, ensuring the Suns snapped a four-game losing streak. He connected on one of his 3-pointers in the period and also found success several times in pick-and-roll situations deep in the paint.

Maluach has played sporadically for Phoenix over the first half of the season, totaling only 84 minutes across 18 appearances. He has been behind the likes of Mark Williams, Oso Ighodaro and Nick Richards in the rotation, leaving him out of the mix.

The 7-footer has made seven appearances in the G League, averaging 16.9 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.7 blocks and 1.3 assists while shooting 57.9% shooting from the field. He has registered five straight double-doubles, including a 22-point, 21-rebound effort on Dec. 11.

Suns coach Jordan Ott commended Maluach this week for his work ethic and the spirit he brings to the team daily. They believe Maluach has room to grow to become a regular contributor, but the group has been impressed with him through the first half of the season.
