Timberwolves Notes
Player Notes
• Julius Randle led the Timberwolves with a game-high 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep, seven rebounds, and a team-high six assists, marking his fourth 30+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (42nd career).
• Randle’s 58.8% (10-of-17) shooting performance marked the 12th game in which he has shot at least 55.0+% on 15 or more attempts from the field, tied for the fourth-most such games in the NBA this season.
• In 28:37 minutes off the bench, Naz Reid finished with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three, six rebounds, five assists, a game-high-tying two steals and a game-high and season-high three blocks, marking his first 20+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (fourth career).
• Reid becomes just the second reserve player in Timberwolves history to record 20+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists/2+ steals/3+ blocks, joining Tom Gugliotta who did so on March 14, 1995 against the San Antonio Spurs. Reid’s performance tonight marks the first such game of the season in the NBA and the17th such bench performance in NBA history and the first since the Washington Wizards’ Andray Blatche did so on Nov. 25, 2008 against the Golden State Warriors.
Team Notes
• Minnesota is averaging 125.3 points per game against Chicago since 2020-21, the second-highest mark by any team that has played an out of conference opponent at least 10 times in that span (San Antonio: 127.3 ppg vs. Washington Wizards).
• The Wolves hit 15 three-pointers tonight, their 17th game this season reaching that mark this season. In the Chris Finch era, Minnesota now has 148 showings with 15+ threes, the seventh-most in the NBA over that span (Feb. 22, 2021).
• The Timberwolves have made 10 or more three-pointers in 51 consecutive home games dating back to Dec. 19, 2024, the third longest streak in NBA history, with only the Cleveland Cavaliers (78 Games, Jan. 3, 2024 – Dec. 3, 2025) and Boston Celtics (72 Games, March 1, 2024 – Present) ahead of them.
