The Clippers have won 14 of 17 games since starting the season 6 and 21.

No team has finished at .500 with that start in NBA history.

Will they do it?

That’s the question people are asking.

Because last night we got yet a reminder.

Since December 20th, No team in the NBA has a better record than the Los Angeles Clippers.

I want to say that loud and proud here, Caroline, because plenty of people were ready to leave the Clippers for dead, and now all of a sudden, They’ve gone on this run.

Can they keep it going?

Can they make NBA history, too?

Uh, when you say “plenty of people,” what you mean is us.

Yeah.

We, as a show, collectively, Jason Fitz and Caroline Fenton left the Clippers for dead, and it was for good reason.

The on-the-court product sucked.

We had the off-the-court aspiration of it all.

There was nothing.

Zero redeeming qualities about the Clippers.

And then all of a sudden, you know, Santa granted their Christmas wish, and they’ve been, to your point, the best team in the league ever since then.

So, can they keep this run going?

Why not?

Like, that’s…

I, I, I wish that I had better analysis and a super, you know, in-depth hot take for you there, but they’ve been on this run now for the last month and some change, and they’ve beaten legitimately good teams in doing it.

Like, it’d be one thing if it was just like, okay, the Clippers had a long stretch of playing some b-totally terrible teams, some 500 teams, so on and so forth, but that hasn’t been the case.
