MANCHESTER, Ky. (WYMT) – The North Laurel Jaguars came to Manchester and won both games against the Tigers in a doubleheader at Bobby Keith Gymnasium on Friday.

Eddie Mahan’s bunch improved to 13-5 on the year with a 74-55 win.
The loss dropped Clay County to 10-10 on the season.
The Lady Jaguars were fueled by Mariella Claybrook. The junior had a game-high 33 points.
Maci White paced the Lady Tigers with 17 points.
With the victory, North Laurel also swept the regular season series against Clay County and have not lost a matchup against the Lady Tigers since 2018.
The Lady Jags return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at Rockcastle County for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
The Lady Tigers clash with Middlesboro for a 6:00 p.m. tip on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
BOYS
Nate Valentine’s crew also came out victorious against Michael Jones’ bunch, 67-55.
As a result, the Jaguars won both regular season meetings against the Tigers.
North Laurel has won eight contests in a row and have not lost since the calendar has flipped to a new year.
The Jaguars take on Boyle County on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Clay County squares off with Leslie County on Monday, Jan. 26. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
