The Phoenix Suns are giving fans another reason to show up early and stay loud, rolling out a meaningful upgrade to the food experience inside the mortgage matchup center.

At a time when concession prices across sports continue to climb, the organization is leaning the other way by expanding its popular two-dollar value menu.

The good news for fans is fans will now be able to grab these new items at the same $2 price point. Fans can enjoy the new additions to the $2 value menu for the first time on Sunday, Jan. 25, when the Suns take on the Miami Heat at 6 p.m. at the Mortgage Matchup Center.

The expanded menu now includes tacos with both beef and vegetarian options, along with ice cream sandwiches, all priced at two dollars. These join existing low-cost staples such as hot dogs, popcorn, chips, soda, and bottled water. The new items are available starting with the next Suns home game.

The goal behind this decision by the organization is simply to make game night easier on the wallet without taking away from the fun.

“The response from our fans to the $2 value menu has been incredibly positive,” Suns and Phoenix Mercury owner Mat Ishbia said in a press release. “Expanding the menu with two more affordable options is another way we’re investing in our fans and elevating the gameday experience.”

So, by pairing affordability with familiar comfort food, the Suns are trying to make the arena experience feel less like a splurge.
