Final Injury Report for Rockets-Pistons, Will Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson Play?

The Detroit Pistons are at home on Friday night as they host the Houston Rockets in an interconference showdown.

Detroit enters Friday’s game with a 32-10 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans on the road on Wednesday night.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Pelicans, Jalen Duren led the way for the Pistons as he recorded 20 points, 15 rebounds and three assists while Daniss Jenkins added 17 points and four assists of his own.

Now Detroit will try to grab another victory on Friday as they face off against the Rockets in a tough home matchup.

On the other side, Houston enters Friday’s contest with a 26-16 record after losing on the road to the Philadelphia 76ers in overtime on Thursday night.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Rockets in Thursday’s loss as he ended the game with 36 points, seven rebounds and three assists while Amen Thompson recorded 17 points, six rebounds and nine assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Rockets Injury Report, Will Tari Eason, Dorian Finney-Smith Play?

For the Rockets, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Tari Eason and Dorian Finney-Smith.

Houston has ruled out Eason due to ankle injury management as the Rockets will elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

With Eason sidelined, Reed Sheppard and Josh Okogie could both be in line for increased roles.

The Rockets have also ruled out Finney-Smith due to ankle injury management as he will also sit in the second game of their back-to-back.

Steven Adams and Fred VanVleet have also been ruled out as they remain sidelined while recovering from injuries while Aaron Holiday has been listed as questionable with back spasms.

On the other side, the Pistons have four players listed on their injury report, including both Cade Cunningham and Duncan Robinson.

Detroit has listed Cunningham as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.

If Cunningham is sidelined once again, Jenkins, Jaden Ivey and Marcus Sasser could all be in line for larger roles.

The Pistons have listed Robinson as probable due to a low back sprain and he is expected to play on Friday.

Ron Holland II has also been listed as probable with an illness and he is expected to play while Caris LeVert is doubtful and is expected to be sidelined due to an illness.
