The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.

The Thunder (37-9) hope to bounce back from an upset. They had a frustrating 117-114 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 47 points and Chet Holmgren had 25 points. Alas, their combined 72 points weren’t enough.

Meanwhile, the Raptors (28-19) have won three in a row. They continue a successful road trip with a 110-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. Brandon Ingram and Immanuel Quickley both had 20 points apiece.

Raptors 111, Thunder 109: You’re starting to see OKC’s injury situation finally cost them games. The Thunder will have roughly the same group of players suit up for them. Even if Gilgeous-Alexander and Holmgren have standout games, you can’t win NBA games with two players alone. Especially against the Raptors. They’ve been red-hot with a starting lineup where any of them can go off. Until reinforcements arrive, it’s tough to pick OKC to get a win. Playing a superhero style of basketball could be physically taxing for their two probable All-Star players.
