On Saturday night, an assist from Coby White allowed Kevin Huerter to make a three-point shot to give the Chicago Bulls a 114-111 win over the Boston Celtics in front of 22,093 fans at the United Center.

White led the Bulls in scoring with 22 points on 32 minutes to go along with seven assists.

The win propelled Chicago back over .500 with a 23-22 record. The Bulls are in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, and 1.5 games back from the Philadelphia 76ers for the sixth seed.

Despite moving up in the conference, the Bulls should consider trading at the deadline.

White, the No. 7 pick by the Bulls in 2019, appears to be the trade target other NBA teams want.

Per Jake Weinbach, the Minnesota Timberwolves want White. The No. 7 team in the Western Conference would be willing to offer a package of Mike Conley, Terrence Shannon Jr. and second-round picks.

“The Timberwolves pursuing Coby White with an offer around Mike Conley, Terrence Shannon Jr., and multiple second-round picks is a deadline deal worth monitoring,” Weinbach posted on X. “Minnesota and Chicago have reportedly remained in contact as the Wolves search the marketplace for a combo guard.”

White, 25, is averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists this season.

This doesn’t seem like a great trade for Chicago. The Bulls should be able to land at least a first-round pick for White. Conley and Shannon won’t help the Bulls in their rebuild.

Second round picks won’t help Chicago either.

However, the Bulls front office doesn’t have a history of being great sellers at the trade deadline.
