The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Chicago Bulls on Monday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.

A comeback victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday improved the Lakers to a 27-17 record and a 2-1 mark on their current eight-game road trip. In that win, they overcame a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter behind 33 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds from Luka Doncic, as well as a nice contribution from Rui Hachimura, who scored 17 points off the bench.

They will face a Bulls team that they suffered a gut-wrenching loss to last season. During that game, Los Angeles led 115-110 with 12 seconds left, only to give up three 3-pointers afterward, including a halfcourt buzzer-beating heave from Josh Giddey.

Lakers: Jake LaRavia (left quad contusion) is questionable. Austin Reaves (left calf strain) and Adou Thiero (right MCL sprain) are out.

Bulls: Tre Jones (left hamstring strain) is doubtful. Zach Collins (right first toe sprain) and Noa Essengue (left shoulder surgery) are out.

Advice and Prediction:

The first job the Lakers will have in Monday’s game is to limit the Bulls’ transition opportunities. Chicago is sixth in the NBA in fast-break points per game, but lately, the Lakers have improved in that department. In January, L.A. is seventh in fast-break points allowed per game, and they have also done a better job of looking to get out and run themselves.

The Bulls are third in defensive rebounding percentage but just 24th in offensive rebounding percentage. It will be important for the Lakers to limit the Bulls to one shot and make sure they win the rebounding battle, as well as the overall possession battle — the Bulls are last in opponents’ turnover percentage.

While Chicago doesn’t have a true star on its roster, it has very good players such as Giddey, who is averaging 18.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 8.9 assists a game, center Nikola Vucevic and guards Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu. As a team, it is seventh in points per game and 3-point accuracy and third in assists per game.

This could be a dangerous game for the Lakers, as they could be ripe for defeat if they aren’t focused and intentional for 48 minutes. But it’s also a game they should win.

Prediction: Lakers 119, Bulls 115
