ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Bucks’ superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is “ready for a new home” ahead of next week’s NBA trade deadline. Charania said several teams have made “aggressive offers” for the two-time MVP with the deadline looming on Feb. 5. “Multiple teams have received a sense that the Bucks are more open than ever to Antetokounmpo offers between now and the deadline,” Charania said, citing league sources. Antetokounmpo is currently sidelined after suffering a right calf strain last week. The Bucks are 18-27 overall and in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. Antetokounmpo told The Athletic earlier this month that he would never ask for a trade from the Bucks, saying “that’s not in my nature.”
