The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking for a second consecutive win when they host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.

It will be the second consecutive home game for the Sixers and the first meeting of the season between the two teams, who will also meet again in Sacramento in March.

Joel Embiid ‘probable’ to play against Kings on Thursday night

Luckily for the Sixers, star center Joel Embiid should be good to go for the game on Thursday night. Embiid is listed as “probable” on the official injury report for the contest, indicating that he’ll be available barring a late setback.

On the season, Embiid has appeared in 26 games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 blocks per performance. After a slow start to the season coming off of offseason knee surgery, Embiid has looked a lot more like his old self as of late.

Entering the matchup with Sacramento, the Sixers sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 25-21. Meanwhile, the Kings are 14th in the West at 12-36 and they have lost six consecutive games.

After the game against Sacramento, the Sixers will have one more home game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday night before heading out on the road for five straight.
