It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Boston Celtics fans throughout the first half of the 2025-26 NBA season. From low expectations coming in, to dreams of a push to the Eastern Conference Finals heading into the All-Star game. Jaylen Brown is playing at an MVP level, which is fueling Boston’s impressive run. However, the roles players have also stepped up, courtesy of Joe Mazzulla’s hard-line coaching methods.

Of course, there’s still another half of the regular season to go. The new challenge is sustaining the current level of play now that teams know what to expect. If Boston can do that, the excitement surrounding the season will likely go into hyperdrive, and postseason expectations will become a consistent topic among the fanbase.
