ZT details his best player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s matchup between the Raptors and the Magic.

The Toronto Raptors are in the Sunshine State to take on the Orlando Magic in an Eastern Conference matchup that tips off Friday’s doubleheader on ESPN. With both teams battling for playoff spots, it should be a great matchup to start the evening and both sides of this matchup bring some solid player prop bets to consider. You can utilize these picks as stand-alone plays or group them in a Same Game Parlay (SGP), as indicated at the bottom of the post.

In the overall matchup, the Magic are slight 1.5-point home favorites, and the point total is 218.5.

The Raptors are 29-20 with a better record than the 24-22 Magic, but the Magic beat the Heat on Wednesday, while the Raptors went down to the Knicks. Toronto has actually been better on the road than at home, but the Magic are 13-8 in their 21 home games this season, so playing at the Kia Center should give them a boost. The Magic will be without Franz Wagner (ankle), but other than that both teams have relatively healthy rotations.
The Raptors won a close, one-point game between these teams on Dec. 29 in Toronto in their first matchup of the season, and each team brings interesting options to consider in this rematch. Let’s dive into my top plate prop bets from this contest.

Raptors vs. Magic Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Immanuel Quickley over 16.5 points (-118)

Even with Jalen Suggs back for the Magic, I think Quickley will be able to go over this points prop line on Friday night. The Raptors point guard is averaging 16.9 points per game on the season and will look to get back on track after scoring only seven points in Wednesday’s matchup against his former team, the Knicks.

Before that down game, Quickley had produced at least 17 points to go over this prop line in four straight games and eight of his last nine. He has gone over this prop line in 13 of his last 18, dating back to just before Christmas, but he did have only four points in the first matchup between these teams.
In that game, Quickley played 25 minutes but shot a woeful 2-for-12 from the field, including 0-for-6 from long range. He should have a much better shooting night since this isn’t the second game of a back-to-back, and he should be fresh after playing 30 minutes against New York.

Quickley has been a huge part of the Raptors’ success this season, and he should be able to climb over this points prop Friday night.

Wendell Carter Jr. under 7.5 rebounds (-131)

Carter has continued to get good minutes in the middle for the Magic, but his rebounding hasn’t been strong lately. He is averaging 7.4 boards per game on the season, but he has come in under this prop line in six straight games and eight of his last nine. Even his one “over” was just by a single board against the Sixers back on Jan. 9.

Carter had six boards in 32 minutes against the Raptors in their first meeting this year, and he only had five rebounds against the Heat on Wednesday in his last game.

The Raptors have a solid defense against centers, and they should be able to hold Carter under this prop line since Sandro Mamukelashvili and Collin Murray-Boyles are doing an admirable job filling in for the injured Jakob Poeltl.

Collin Murray-Boyles over 1.5 blocks (+158)

Let’s stay down low and back the Raptors’ rookie Collin Murray-Boyles in the third player prop bet for this matchup. Murray-Boyles missed four games with a thumb contusion but was back in action on Wednesday and played 28 minutes against the Knicks.

He had four points, five rebounds, four assists, and four blocks in that game, setting a new career high. With Poeltl still without a timetable to return, Murray-Boyles will likely continue to start for the Raptors for the near future.

He had two blocks in his first game against Orlando and has also picked up multiple rejections in three straight games. The Magic are tied with the Jazz for the most blocks allowed to their opponent per game, so getting Murray-Boyles at plus money to pick up multiple blocks is a strong prop to consider this Friday.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Anthony Black over 1.5 3PM (-139)

If you’re building an SGP (Same Game Parlay) for this Friday night matchup, adding in the over on Black’s 3PM boosts the SGP to a spicy +1200 overall, as you can see below. If you want to mix in picks from other games, you can also build a strong SGPx with these core plays.

I laid out why I like Black’s 3PM in my top 3PM props of the day, but the short version is that he has gone over this attainable prop line in seven of his last eight games with  multiple threes in each of his last three games, including going 4-for-7 from long range on his way to 26 points on Wednesday.
