Stud

Kyshawn George, Washington Wizards vs. Los Angeles Lakers ($7,600)

It’s been quite the roller coaster second season for George. He’s finished with fewer than 20 FPTS six times, but has gone over 40 FPTS nine times with three of those over 50 FPTS. Since mid-January, though, the volatility has smoothed out, as he’s gone for over 30 FPTS in each of the last seven games with three of those over 40 and a high of 55.8 FPTS. George has a diverse skillset that allows him to stuff the stat sheet. The usage rate has been around 27% recently with four straight games over 29%. Now he faces a Lakers team that is 25th in defensive rating.

Other Options: Luka Doncic ($11,900), Cade Cunningham ($10,300), Donovan Mitchell ($9,900), James Harden ($9,800), Keyonte George ($8,200), Anthony Black ($7,300), Desmond Bane ($7,000), Grayson Allen ($7,000), Jaylon Tyson ($6,900), Cam Spencer ($6,100)

Value

Isaiah Collier, Utah Jazz vs. Brooklyn Nets ($5,800)

Collier is backing up Keyonte George, so he likely won’t play 30 minutes, but he’s been scoring and dishing out plenty of dimes when he’s on the court. Over the last five games, he’s put up at least 30 FPTS in four of those contests with a high of 43.5 FPTS. Four of those games were double-digit spreads, so he likely saw an uptick in minutes as a result. Brooklyn has been dead-last in pace over the last seven games, but they’ve also been 29th in defensive rating.

Other Options: Tre Johnson ($5,900), Brice Sensabaugh ($5,700), Jordan Miller ($5,300), Jordan Goodwin ($5,200), Nolan Traore ($4,000), Jamaree Bouyea ($3,800) if Collin Gillespie is out,

Editor’s Note: Nets SF Michael Porter Jr. (personal) has been ruled out for tonight’s game vs. the Jazz.

Michael Porter Jr., Brooklyn Nets at Utah Jazz ($8,700)

Porter is garnering a massive 30.4% usage rate on the season. He is the Atlas of the Nets offense. Over the last five games, Porter has put up at least 40 FPTS in three of those contests with a high of 54.2 FPTS. The other two games were blowouts so he only played 22 and 26 minutes. Utah is fourth in pace and dead-last in defensive rating on the season, so the environment should be a fantasy-friendly one.

Other Options: Jaylen Brown ($9,700), Scottie Barnes ($9,200), LeBron James ($8,900), Lauri Markkanen ($8,300), Zion Williamson ($7,800), Grayson Allen ($7,000), Jaylon Tyson ($6,900), Collin Murray-Boyles ($6,100)

Value

Saddiq Bey, New Orleans Pelicans vs. Memphis Grizzlies ($6,000)

Three games ago, James Borrego moved Jeremiah Fears to the bench and started utilizing a jumbo lineup with Zion Williamson, Derik Queen, Herbert Jones, Trey Murphy III and Bey. Bey’s usage rate has spiked from 20.2% to 24.3% over that span and he’s put up over 45 FPTS in each of those contests with a high of 52 FPTS. Coincidence? I think not.

Other Options: Brice Sensabaugh ($5,700), Khris Middleton ($5,300), Jordan Miller ($5,300), Sam Hauser ($5,200), Jordan Goodwin ($5,200), Dylan Cardwell ($4,500)

Center

Stud

Jusuf Nurkic, Utah Jazz vs. Brooklyn Nets ($7,700)

Nurkic had his three-game, triple-double streak ended on Wednesday, as he finished with 25.2 FPTS in 23 minutes against the Warriors. Over that three game span, Nurkic put up 55, 60.2 and 61 FPTS. The Warriors move and space the floor, making it a difficult environment for Nurkic to thrive. There should be a return to normalcy against the Nets. I’m not saying Nurkic will triple-double again, but he should play over 30 minutes and provide plenty of fantasy goodies.

Other Options: Jaren Jackson Jr. ($7,500), Donovan Clingan ($7,400), Ivica Zubac ($7,300), Collin Murray-Boyles ($6,100)

Value

Dylan Cardwell, Sacramento Kings at Boston Celtics ($4,500)

Dylan Cardwell has become a fixture of Sacramento’s rotation through his defense and energy. He’s made the most of his 20-or-so minutes a night, averaging 4.8 points and 7.2 rebounds. While he still has a long way to go before he can match Boston big Neemias Queta’s impressive 23-game streak, Cardwell has logged 20 FPTS in seven straight games. The upside is limited but the floor seems secure.

Other Options: Jock Landale ($6,000), Sandro Mamukelashvili ($5,600), Day’Ron Sharpe ($4,600)
