With all the conference tournaments wrapping up on Sunday, the time is near for the unveiling of the NCAA baseball tournament field. All the suspense will be over when the official bracket is revealed at noon ET on Monday, but for the most part we have a pretty good idea who made the 64-team cut, with aspirations of reaching the ultimate destination of Omaha, Nebraska for the College World Series.

This much we do know. There are 29 conferences whose champions receive automatic berths. We can also say that a majority of the 35 teams that will get at-large invitations will come from the SEC and ACC. Members of those two power leagues will also likely be serving as hosts for most of the 16 regionals, which will get underway later this week.
