Columbia, S.C. (WACH) — Sunday evening UCLA defeated South Carolina 5-0 in game three of the super regionals.
The Gamecocks led the series after a 9-2 victory Friday. UCLA tied the series after a 5-4 victory was secured via Jordan Woolery’s walk-off home run Saturday.
South Carolina (44-17) ends its season with Ashley Chasten Woodard setting the record for most wins by a first-year head coach in program history.
UCLA advances to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
