Despite both being in the top 10 in the AP Poll, Texas and Oklahoma are only sixth and eighth in the SEC, respectively. The Longhorns are 20-2 overall and 5-2 in conference after suffering back-to-back defeats in the middle of last month to No. 6 LSU and No. 3 South Carolina, who they beat earlier in the season in a non-conference game, by a combined 8 points. Oklahoma is 17-4 and 5-3 in the SEC after dropping three straight to No. 17 Ole Miss, No. 18 Kentucky and LSU, before righting the ship with an overtime victory over South Carolina.
