The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.

The Thunder (38-11) are in a funk. They dropped a 123-111 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points and eight assists, but the rest of the team couldn’t do much.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets (33-16) rode momentum into their 122-109 win over the LA Clippers. After a month-long absence, Nikola Jokic returned. He finished with 31 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.

The Thunder will start Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Lu Dort, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein. The Nuggets will start Jamal Murray, Peyton Watson, Jalen Pickett, Spencer Jones and Nikola Jokic.
