The Los Angeles Lakers celebrated the one-year anniversary of Nico Harrison and the Dallas Mavericks gifting them Luka Dončić by releasing a video chronicling his achievements thus far with the organization.

While L.A. lost in the first round of last year’s playoffs and is currently sixth in the Western Conference (29-19), having the 26-year-old Dončić to build around for the next decade has set off the next chapter in Lakers’ basketball.

You can trace the different eras of the team’s history through the superstars who donned the jersey. There was George Mikan during the Minneapolis years; Jerry West, Elgin Baylor and Wilt Chamberlain in the 1960s and early ’70s; the Showtime years with Kareem Abul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson; Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant in the ’90s and early 2000s; LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the early 2020s.

And now there’s Dončić.
