Pascal Siakam, 4 times All-Star
Pascal Siakam during an All-Star match against Kawhi Leonard
Pascal Siakam moves into a new dimension. His season on the individual plan with Indiana convinced more than one. He is selected for the All-Star Game 2026 which will take place on February 15th in Los Angeles, on the floor of the Clippers.
Pascal Siakam is selected for the 4th time in his career at the All-Star Game. After a vote combining fans, players and the media, the Cameroonian was selected among the 7 substitutes for the Eastern Conference by the NBA coaches.
A great success for the Indomitable Lion who is living a very particular season, between collective performances below average and high-level individual performances.
Number one offensive weapon of the Pacers
The Cameroonian overswims within the Pacers squad.
With 13 wins and 36 losses, the Pacers are in last place in the Eastern Conference. This assessment could have been heavy if Pascal Siakam had not been present. In the absence of Haliburton, injured for the rest of the season, the Cameroonian becomes the preferred offensive option. He fully assumes this leader costume.
Physically fit, Siakam has played 47 of the 49 games for the Indiana Pacers this season in the NBA. He has an average of 23.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per match. He is the handyman of his franchise, being the best scorer, rebounder and third best passer and interceptor in Indiana. Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks, he was the great architect of his team’s victory (129-124) at home with 25 points, 6 rebounds and a 48.3% shooting percentage and 37.7% at three points.
Victor Oladipo eclipsed from the tablets
The figures speak in favor of Pascal Siakam’s stratospheric season. He scored 20 points or more in 38 of his 47 games this season, it’s the fourth best total of 20-point games in the NBA. The Cameroonian has also reached the 20-point mark in 16 of his last 17 matches, including nine consecutive. This is the longest series of 20-point games for a Pacers player since Victor Oladipo in 2018.
Unfortunately, he is not helped by the Pacers collective. Finalist last season, Indiana completely outdoes this year with very average results.
