LeBron James and Luka Dončić led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 125-109 blowout win over Michael Porter Jr. and the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

The Lakers outscored the Nets 45-23 in the first quarter and never looked back, leading by as many as 39 points.

James finished with a team-high 25 points to go along with seven assists and three steals, shooting 10-of-16 from the field.

Fans were impressed with his performance.

As for Dončić, he scored 24 points on 8-of-18 shooting. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists in 29 minutes on the floor.

Porter finished with 21 points for the Nets, but it ultimately wasn’t enough to emerge victorious.

Austin Reaves also made his return following a 19-game absence due to a left calf strain, scoring 15 points and grabbing four rebounds while shooting 3-of-9 from the field in just 21 minutes.

Reaves came off the bench for the first half of the game before returning to Los Angeles’ starting lineup after halftime.

The Lakers didn’t face much resistance to open Tuesday’s contest, holding the Nets to a mere 40 points through two quarters.

Brooklyn finished the game by shooting 24.4 percent from three-point territory, committing 20 turnovers to go along with 28 assists. Porter was the only member of the Nets’ starting lineup to finish with more than 11 points.

Meanwhile, the Lakers’ success was particularly impressive considering they also struggled with their shooting efficiency. Los Angeles was able to put up 125 points despite connecting on just 22.6 percent of its triples and missing 13 free throws.

Unsurprisingly, the Lakers offset their poor shooting by thriving during transition opportunities. They tallied 31 fast-break points compared to just 18 for the Nets.

Los Angeles improved to 30-19 with the victory, as head coach JJ Redick’s team has now won six of its past nine games.
