SACRAMENTO, CA ― Four new Memphis Grizzlies players have arrived in Sacramento to join the team.

Walter Clayton Jr., Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang and Kyle Anderson were acquired by the Grizzlies in an eight-player trade on Feb. 3. Memphis sent Jaren Jackson Jr., John Konchar, Jock Landale and Vince Williams Jr. to the Utah Jazz for the four aforementioned players and three future first-round picks.

Clayton, Hendricks, Niang and Anderson won’t play against the Kings on Feb. 4 (9 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network).

Their first opportunity to play will come against the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 6 (9 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network).

Anderson, 32, has 12 seasons of NBA experience as a combo forward. He spent four seasons in Memphis (2018-22) before joining the Minnesota Timberwolves. After that, he played for the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat before joining the Jazz.

Giang, 32, is in his 10th NBA season at forward. He spent time with five teams before joining Memphis.

Hendricks and Clayton Jr. are the younger assets in the trade. Hendricks, 22, is in his third NBA season. He was the ninth overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft as a forward from the University of Central Florida.

Clayton, a rookie guard and first-round pick, was selected 18th overall by Utah after leading the Florida Gators to an NCAA title last season. He has averaged 6.8 points in 45 appearances this season.
