Corey Camper Jr.

Position: Shooting guard
Year: Senior
Career overview: A native of Little Rock, Ark., Camper spent two seasons at Tyler Junior College where he was a junior-college All-American honorable mention. He then transferred to UTEP where he spent two more seasons, earning All-Conference USA defensive team honors while sitting in the third-scorer role for the Miners. Camper got a fifth year of eligibility as a result of the NCAA’s one-time junior-college exemption and transferred to Nevada where he has blossomed as a scorer. Camper is averaging a team-high 17.8 points per game, adding 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He’s shooting 49.6 percent from the field, including 44.9 percent from three, both career highs by a wide margin.
