SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz’s busy 2026 NBA trade deadline continues with the franchise reportedly adding nine-year veteran wing Chris Boucher from the Boston Celtics.
ESPN’s Shams Charania first reported the news. Full details of the trade have not been released.
The trade deadline expires at 11 a.m. MT on Thursday, February 5.

Boucher has struggled to carve out rotation minutes with the Celtics after signing as a free agent. He is averaging 2.3 points and two rebounds in just nine games this season.
Who is Chris Boucher?
Listed at 6’8″ and 200lbs, Boucher entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He made his NBA debut with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
The 33-year-old signed two multi-year deals with Toronto, averaging 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds on 48.7 percent shooting and 33.9 percent from three in 406 games.

Boucher has career averages of 8.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and shoots 33.6 percent from deep.
