Memphis sophomore PJ Haggerty will reportedly withdraw from the 2025 NBA draft and transfer to Kansas State, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Haggerty was a consensus second-team All-American this past season, averaging 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals on 36.4% shooting from 3-point range. He finished third in the country in scoring (759) and 13th in field goals (248).

The American Athletic Conference Player of the Year registered 23 20-point games with the Tigers, the third-most in the country. He is the first player since Ja Morant to average at least 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals with 6.5 free throws per game (2018-19).
Haggerty entered the transfer portal following the season while also declaring for the draft. He competed in the combine earlier this month, averaging 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists in two scrimmage games in Chicago, Illinois. He also worked out with the Boston Celtics.
The 21-year-old was one of the top players in the transfer portal and was said to be also recruited by NC State. He sought $4 million in name, image and likeness (NIL) endorsements, but settled for $2 million plus incentives at Kansas State, according to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.
Haggerty joins a Wildcats team that is also adding Abdi Bashir Jr. (Monmouth), Nate Johnson (Akron) and Tyreek Smith (Memphis) via the transfer portal. The team also secured a commitment from three-star prospect Exavier Wilson.
