White is happy to return to North Carolina with the Hornets
The Hornets got a steal with White, who has been superb for the Bulls over the past few years. He is a superb scorer who could be a game-changer for the Hornets off the bench.
Considering the Hornets already have a solid core group with LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and Kon Knueppel. Now, they have another option off the bench with White, who is a more natural scorer compared to Collin Sexton, who was traded for him.

Not only is this a good basketball move, but it is also a great homecoming for White. He was born and raised in North Carolina, and he played college basketball with the Tar Heels.
He is happy that he is back home, even though he loved playing for the Bulls throughout the past few years.
“It’s been emotional, but it’s also a blessing to be able to come home and play for my home-state team. It’s also exciting at the same time, new opportunity, new people, and new teammates,” White said about joining the Hornets.
