We also saw Coby White sent to Charlotte.

What does that mean for the Hornets?

Great move!

You know, they’re one of the hottest teams in basketball right now.

They’ve won eight of their last 10 games.

To me, that’s a move like, “Hey, right now, we’re gonna try to make the play-in.”

They’re only a game out of the Bulls.

The Bulls are just dismantling their entire team, so why not go for it?

But I think the better part about the Coby White story is that he’s on an expiring deal, but they can re-sign him, and he’s from North Carolina, born and raised, went to UNC, he was a beast.

So what better situation to be pride- , you know, prideful, to play in front of your f- your family, your friends?

I think it’s a good situation.

They get a bonafide baller there that can play make, he can score.

He’s better than Collin Sexton, so they upgraded their team.

It’s a great move.

Is Charlotte a sustainably good basketball team now?

Eh, I don’t know if we could go that far.

I mean, I tried, but they’re getting there.

You know, they’re showing promise, and that’s what you want.

Like, I think, you know, Charlotte and m- many other teams in the Eastern Conference have just been in this, this rut of just, you know, very low expectations, bottom-feeding, always playing for draft picks.

Now that we actually see them competing at a high level, I think it’s just a good turn of the page of like, “Hey, let’s, let’s actually try to win some games,” and I think we’re starting to see that now with some of these teams that are tanking, but really they’re just building a foundation for the future.

And I think, you know, the Wizards and what they did, I think that was a good sign of, of things to come, too.
