The Nuggets are faced with another injury challenge.
The team announced Friday forward Peyton Watson will be re-evaluated in four weeks due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Watson suffered the injury during Wednesday’s loss to the New York Knicks.
Watson joins a long list of Denver players who have missed extended time, including Nikola Jokic, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun and Jonas Valanciunas.
Watson has had a breakout season in Denver, averaging 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 blocks.Â
