When he has been on the court, Avdija has been a difference-maker for this Trail Blazers team. The 25-year-old has suited up for 44 games and is posting averages of 25.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists. He has been the main spark for Portland exceeding expectations on the season, as it currently sits in 10th place in the Western Conference with a 24-28 record. With Avdija growing into the franchise centerpiece and plenty of solid young talents around him, the vision for the Trail Blazers’ future is much clearer than most expected coming into the year.
Portland provides another opportunity for a win tonight as it faces a Memphis Grizzlies team that just traded Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant remaining sidelined.
Looking at the odds for tonight, the Trail Blazers are 8.5-point favorites and hold -325 odds of winning outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Grizzlies hold +260 odds of pulling off the upset with the game total set at 233.5 points.
