Dončić limped off late in the second quarter with what Los Angeles called left leg soreness, while Austin Reaves, in his second game back from a 19-game absence with an injured left calf, scored 35 points off the bench to lead the Lakers to a 119-115 win over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. LeBron James added 17 points and 10 assists, Rui Hachimura put up 14 points and seven rebounds, and Jake LaRavia finished with 14 points and three steals in the Lakers’ first home game since Jan. 18.

Pat Spencer scored a career-high 20 points for the Warriors, who rode a 22-5 run to a 101-97 road victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, erasing a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit. Gui Santos added 18 points and seven assists, and De’Anthony Melton dropped 17 points to go with three steals. Gary Payton II chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench as Curry continues to rest a runner’s knee.

Golden State won the first meeting with the Lakers at home on Oct. 21. Dončić leads the NBA with an average of 32.8 points while also getting 8.6 assists per game. Reaves scores 26.5 points a night, and DeAndre Ayton posts 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per contest. Brandin Podziemski is the Warriors’ top available scorer, averaging 11.8 points, with Melton also dropping 11.8 points per game and Draymond Green notching 5.7 boards and 5.1 assists per game.
