Lillard will be competing for what would be a record-tying third 3-point contest win after taking the crown in 2023 and 2024, joining two former teammates in Norman Powell and Bobby Portis. Jr. from their time on the Blazers and Bucks, respectively. Last year’s winner, Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat, is suffering from a rib injury that has kept him out of action since early January.
Dame has been active on social media showing his injury recovery progress, and has been doing light on-court work – including shooting from deep – for a number of months.
