PHOENIX — As the Seattle Seahawks continue to celebrate their Super Bowl LX win, Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker’s comment from a few weeks prior has begun to resurface — and it’s aged well.

Ahead of the much-anticipated bout between the Seahawks and the New England Patriots, Booker had an exchange with model Kendall Jenner on Instagram that added a new twist to the big game. Jenner released a betting campaign with Fanatics Sportsbook, leaning into a long-running joke about her past relationship history with NBA players — including the Suns star.

While promoting it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jenner picked the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.

Needless to say, Booker had a quick response.

“I bet a million the Seahawks get that ring before you do,” Booker wrote on Instagram.

When Seattle clinched its second Super Bowl title, the Phoenix guard once again took to Instagram to poke more fun at the situation.

The interaction also brought fans in on the fun, as they fired back at each other’s expense.

“Put one on her, Dev,” one fan wrote.

“Oh girl, he’s bitter,” another commenter added, siding with Jenner.

Beneath all the humor, there is also a human element to the exchange. Known as a leader for the Suns and a franchise cornerstone, Booker’s ability to bring lightheartedness and sarcasm into the moment showcases his personality off the court.

Even between those who have shared a past, being able to poke fun, look back and share a laugh is something worth noting.
