—— Toumani Camara scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-12 shooting as the Portland Trail Blazers won their third-straight game by blowing out the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night at Moda Center.
Trail Blazers win their third-straight game in dominant fashion over the 76ers!
Toumani Camara had a career-night Monday at Moda Center. He finished with a career-high 30 points on 10-of-12 shooting including a career-high eight three-pointers.
Deni Avdija returned after missing four games. He finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Scoot Henderson played his second game of the season. He finished with 12 points and six assists.
Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia (30-23) with 30 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 19 points and four rebounds.
Philadelphia took a 10-point lead in the second quarter but Portland responded with a 19-8 run to retake the lead at 62-61. The Sixers led by one at halftime.
Portland (26-28) took control of the game by dominating the third quarter. They scored a season-high for points in a quarter with 49 on 61% shooting and outscored Philadelphia 49-22.
The Trail Blazers led 113-87 at the end of the third. The 76ers couldn’t overcome the third quarter drubbing and lose in blowout fashion.
Portland finished with 35 assists and a season-high 22 assists.
The Blazers have now won three-straight and improved to 26-28 with 28 games to play.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the first of back-to-back road games Wednesday evening in Minnesota against the Timberwolves. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:00 PM.
Chad’s Take- The third quarter was the best basketball I have seen from the Blazers this season.
