Steven Adams (left ankle; surgery)
Fred VanVleet (right knee; ACL repair)
Los Angeles Clippers
Out:
Bradley Beal (left hip; fracture)
Darius Garland (left toe; injury management)
On Houston’s side, there are no real updates to report. Adams remains out for the season, while a VanVleet return still hangs in uncertainty, according to head coach Ime Udoka.
For Los Angeles, Garland will not yet be making his Clippers debut on Tuesday night as his recovery continues to be monitored.
On Houston’s side, the status quo holds. Houston Rockets remain without Steven Adams, who continues his recovery from season-ending ankle surgery, leaving the Rockets without a true physical enforcer in the paint. His absence still shows up most on the glass and in second-chance situations, where Houston has had to rely on collective rebounding rather than brute force.

Fred VanVleet also remains out as he works his way back from ACL repair. Head coach Ime Udoka has maintained that VanVleet’s return timeline is fluid, and until he’s cleared, Houston stays locked into its post-FVV identity. That means more ball-handling by committee and heavier decision-making responsibilities for the young guards.
For Los Angeles, Darius Garland is sidelined and will not make his Clippers debut yet as the team manages his toe injury cautiously. The Clippers will of course be without Bradley Beal, who continues to recover from a hip fracture.
Bottom line: neither side gets a sudden boost from the injury report, which puts the focus squarely back on execution. For Houston, that means sustaining the offensive rhythm they found over the weekend.
No surprises- just another night where availability quietly shapes responsibility.
