Antonio Miccinilli scored a game-high 20 points to lead Waldwick to a 54-51 victory over Passaic Charter in a non-conference game played in Passaic.
Andrew Del Rey added 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals for Waldwick (15-7). The team is tied for second place in the NJIC Liberty Division at 7-3 with Midland Park.
The Warriors were effective from beyond the arc, connecting on eight 3-pointers in the contest. Del Rey hit one 3-pointer while Miccinilli also knocked down three shots from long range. Connor Kasperowicz contributed six points on two 3-pointers.
Miccinilli was efficient at the free throw line, making five of his eight attempts. Del Rey converted three of his four free throws.
Lou Manuppelli chipped in six points for Waldwick, while Max Caiazzo and Marco Miccinilli each added three points.
Passaic Charter (13-8) fought hard throughout the contest but came up just short in the final minutes. The Panthers are 8-1 in their conference play this season.
