THIS IS KRISTIAN, A 17 YEAR OLD FROM LAKELAND, FLORIDA, WHO TRAVELED HALFWAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO SEE HIS FAVORITE TEAM THIS WEEKEND, THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER. I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE WHOLE TEAM, AND IT WAS JUST A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY THAT I’M BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE PROVIDED TO ME. CHRISTIAN’S BIG WEEKEND WAS PART OF THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION. GOING TO PRACTICE AND SPENDING TIME WITH THE TEAM ALL WEEKEND CAPPED OFF WITH THE GAME AGAINST THE HOUSTON ROCKETS. IT’S SOMETHING HIS MOTHER, BRIDGETTE, SAYS THEY’RE NEVER GOING TO FORGET. THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS MORE THAN I IMAGINED. IT’S BEEN MAGICAL. IT’S A SENIOR YEAR. IT’S HIS 18TH BIRTHDAY. WE WENT THROUGH A LOT. JUNIOR YEAR WITH WITH HOSPITAL STAYS AND DOCTOR’S VISITS THAT THIS THIS GIVES US HOPE. A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD DIE TO BE IN A POSITION THAT I’M IN TODAY. UNDERSTANDING THAT I WAS ABLE TO WATCH MY FAVORITE TEAM PLAY ON MY BIRTHDAY AND MEET THE PLAYERS AT THE SAME TIME, IT WAS ALL JUST CULMINATED INTO ONE THING. I’M JUST BLESSED TO BE ABLE TO BE THERE. IT WAS SOMETHING I’M NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO FORGET. HOW ARE YOU? ALL RIGHT. AND THIS IS 14 YEAR OLD JAXSON. HE WAS PART OF THE BIG WEEKEND. HE’S FROM PENNSYLVANIA AND CAME TO OKLAHOMA CITY WITH THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION. IT WAS UNREAL. YOU KNOW, GOING TO THE GAME, SEEING ALL THEM SIGNING MY BALL. IT WAS CRAZY. AND EVEN WENT BOWLING. WITH THUNDER PLAYERS. BROOKS BARNHILL AND AJ MITCHELL. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? HE BEAT HIM. YEAH I BEAT THEM I
