Ryan Wohl details his preview and prediction for tonight’s Warriors vs. Spurs game.

The San Antonio Spurs host the Golden State Warriors tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET. San Antonio is riding a five-game winning streak and is coming off a 28-point victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Warriors have won two of their previous three games without their best player, Stephen Curry. The Warriors are 2-0 against the Spurs this season, but Curry played in both of those games.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Spurs are -7.5 on the spread while the Warriors are +200 to win the contest. The game’s over/under is set at 221.5 points, with the under being -112. Check out my best bet and preview for tonight’s Warriors-Spurs matchup below.

Warriors vs. Spurs preview, prediction

The Spurs have an incredibly deep roster this season, led by Victor Wembanyama. Wemby is averaging 24.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.7 blocks per contest. But Wembanyama is coming off his second 40-point performance of the season against the Lakers. Rookie Carter Bryant has been an impact player for the Spurs recently, scoring at least 11 points in three of his last four games.

The Warriors enter this game with a loaded injury report as Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler are out, while Will Richard and De’Anthony Melton are questionable. Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody will need to step up on offense to compete with the streaking Spurs. Golden State is 23-16 with Curry and 6-9 without their superstar this season. The Warriors have struggled on offense, scoring 101 or fewer points in three of their last four games.

San Antonio is on an elite offensive stretch, scoring 116-plus points in four consecutive games while recording at least 135 in their last three contests. After exiting last night’s game early, it is unknown if the Spurs will have Stephon Castle against the Warriors. If Castle is unable to play, De’Aaron Fox will need to step up. Fox has been inconsistent lately on offense as he hasn’t scored 20 or more points in his last eight games.

Warriors vs. Spurs pick, best bet

During the Spurs’ current five-game winning streak, all of their victories have come by at least eight points. This season, San Antonio has won 25 of its 37 games by eight-plus points. Three of the Warriors’ last six losses without Curry have come by over 7.5 points. Golden State is 3-7 in their previous 10 games, with five of those losses being by at least eight points.

Best bet: San Antonio Spurs -7.5 (-110)
