CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Two Charlotte Hornets fans got the experience they will never forget on Monday night as the Hornets took on the Detroit Pistons at the Spectrum Center.
Their names are AC and Milli B and they had courtside seats at the Hornets vs. Detroit Pistons game in Charlotte on Monday, Feb. 9. Milli was using his camera phone to take videos when the fight between players broke out.

They called the brawl chaotic and caught it all on camera. As things were getting heated, the two suddenly saw Hornets player Moussa Diabate fall in AC’s lap.
“He needs to get up,” Hornets fan AC said. “He’s a big dude. I’m 5′ 5” and it was like six of them, but it was all right. It was cool – no harm – no foul.”
While Diabate was on AC’s lap, Milli was talking to the Hornets’ player.
“I was trying to get him to calm down,” Hornets fan AC said. “Calm down brother. You blessed. Don’t give them a reason to eject you – kick you out. I thought we had a chance to win, so I really didn’t want him to get ejected from the game.”
The two were strangers before the game, now they are bonded for life because of this experience. The punishment handed down for Diabate was a four-game suspension. AC thought the punishment didn’t fit the offense.
“Right is right,” AC said. “Wrong is wrong. The man shouldn’t have pushed him. It was a good game. They were playing – it was a hard game. They were playing good ball…when somebody puts their hand in your face, that’ll take you somewhere else. All in all, I wish them all the best.”
Milli agrees. He thinks all should have been forgiven.
“They should let those boys play ball,” Milli said. “The temperature was high. The tension was high. Everybody made a little mistake, nobody got injured. Nobody got hurt. I think it’s good for the sport. It’s contact – it is what it is.”
A Spectrum Center employee did ask AC if he was ok. AC said he was. He did have a few drinks spill on him.
Both said courtside seats are the best and can’t wait until they experience another Hornets game.
