The Boston Celtics will try to enter the NBA All-Star break on a high note when they host the Chicago Bulls at TD Garden on Wednesday night.
It’s the final game before the break, and so far, the C’s have exceeded most experts’ expectations this season. Despite losing several important players (Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, Jrue Holiday, etc.) in the offseason and Jayson Tatum being out due to injury, Boston could go into All-Star weekend with 35 wins in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Celtics and Bulls made a trade before last week’s deadline that sent center Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick to Boston with Anfernee Simons and a second-round pick to Chicago. Both Vucevic and Simons are expected to play tonight.
