Virginia Tech has a 16-8 record and are currentley ninth in the ACC. Virginia Tech is 8-6 against Clemson, but the Tigers have won three of the last four meetings between the two teams.

Virginia Tech vs. Clemson (7:00 p.m. ET)
Clemson is currently tied with Duke for first place in the ACC with a 10-1 record in the conference. Since losing to NC State in overtime, Clemson has won four consecutive games. Not only does Clemson have only three double-digit scorers, but it also doesn’t have a player averaging 12 or more points per game. Clemson is 28th on KenPom, and although their offensive rating is 67th, they excel on defense with the 13th-best defensive rating. In Clemson’s previous seven victories, they have held their opponents to 64 or fewer points. If the game is low-scoring, it favors Clemson.
The Hokies average four more points per game than Clemson, with five players scoring at least 10 points. Amani Hansberry is the Hokies’ leading scorer and has scored at least 19 points in his last two games. Virginia Tech’s top three guards are Neoklis Avdalas (12.6 PPG), Ben Hammond (12.3 PPG), and Jailen Bedford (10.8 PPG). The Hokies allow 10 more points per game to opponets then Clemson does.
Virginia Tech has suffered two consecutive losses and is 4-6 in its previous 10 games. In 2026, Virginia Tech has scored 80 or more points only once in a 10-game span. Virginia Tech’s last three losses have come by at least 10 points. Six of Clemson’s previous seven wins have been by 10-plus points. With that said, my favorite play in this contest is taking Clemson at -9.5 with +106 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.
College Basketball Pick: Clemson -9.5 (+106)
