Julius Randle scored a season-high 41 points and Jaden McDaniels added 21 points and six rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 133-109 Wednesday night at Target Center in Minneapolis.
Jrue Holiday led Portland (26-29) with 23 points, Scoot Henderson finished with 18 points, four rebounds, and two assists, and Vit Krejci added 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
The difference in the game was turnovers. The Trail Blazers turned the ball over 26 times which led to 43 points for the Timberwolves. Minnesota (34-22) ended the game +27 in points off turnovers.
The Wolves took control of the game in the third with a 14-2 run which pushed their lead to 18. They led by as many as 28 points in the second half and cruised to their second victory against the Trail Blazers on the season.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers play the second night of a back-to-back Thursday night in Utah against the Jazz. The game is scheduled to tip off at 6:00 PM.
