Timberwolves SG/SF Anthony Edwards (illness) has been listed as questionable for tonight’s game vs. the Trail Blazers.
UPDATE: Anthony Edwards (illness) is available to play tonight vs. the Trail Blazers.
For a majority of teams, it is the last night before the All-Star break. Let chaos ensue!
That includes the Timberwolves, who will welcome the Trail Blazers to Minnesota on Wednesday evening. However, it’s suddenly up in the air as to whether or not the Wolves will be at full-strength, as Anthony Edwards has been added to Minnesota’s injury report as questionable with an illness.

Edwards has been incredible when available this season, averaging 29.6 points per contest — the third-highest mark in the NBA. The former first-overall pick has also been incredibly efficient, posting career-bests in field goal rate (49.2%), three-point shooting rate (39.7%) and true shooting rate (61.9%). He’s a massive reason why the Timberwolves are 11 games above .500 and are currently hanging on to a top-six seed in the West.
Still, Edwards has already missed 11 contests in 2025-26. The 65-game mark might not be looming large quite yet, but it certainly has to be on the mind of Edwards, who has played through many questionable tags already this season. Ayo Dosunmu would be a candidate to start in Edwards’ place, if the All-Star is indeed ruled out. Dosunmu impressed in his second appearance with Minnesota on Monday, dropping 21 points in 29.8 minutes off the bench. Julius Randle and Naz Reid would also see their usage skyrocket with Edwards in street clothes.
The Timberwolves are currently 5.5-point favorites on the DraftKings Sportsbook.
