PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – The Portland Trail Blazers released renderings of potential renovations for the Moda Center on Wednesday.
The renderings come as Oregon lawmakers consider Senate Bill 1501, which would create “Oregon Arena Fund” to receive tax revenues from wages earned by performers and athletes at the Moda Center.
Supporters of the bill, including Governor Tina Kotek, say the renovations would help keep the Blazers in Portland as other cities such as Seattle are working to bring in an NBA franchise.

Oregon state leaders spoke in favor of legislation that would be the first step toward renovating the Moda Center and keeping the Trail Blazers in Portland.
Meanwhile, opponents of the bill say the Blazers’ ownership should fund the renovations themselves.
The Blazers were purchased by an ownership group led by Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon in September 2025.
