Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic makes history all the time.
He’s now second in triple-doubles in NBA history, passing the great Oscar Robertson earlier this month.
But this piece of information the Nuggets dropped on Thursday is a bit shocking, even for Jokic. He missed 16 games before the All-Star break and still accomplished something no player has ever done.

Nikola Jokic suffered a scary knee injury against the Miami Heat in late December and sat out almost exactly a month.
Still, he’s the first player in NBA history to have more than 1,000 points, 475 rebounds, 250 free throws made, 75 three-pointers and 30 blocks ahead of the All-Star game.
He impacts the game in so many different ways and this is just the latest example.
And for the first time in his career, Nikola Jokic will have a teammate join him for the All-Star festivities, as Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray finally got the nod.
Denver is 35-20 as the league pauses for a week, good for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. The Nuggets went a shocking 10-6 without the three-time MVP Jokic, keeping them competitive in the standings.
Of course, Nikola Jokic wants a second championship rings, something he’ll get a chance to pursue this spring and summer. I
n the meantime, it’s just another day with another ridiculous stat for the best basketball player on Earth.
