Ryan Wohl breaks down his favorite player prop bets for tonight’s matchup between the Trail Blazers and the Jazz.
The Utah Jazz host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET. Portland has won three of its previous four games, while Utah is riding a two-game winning streak. The Jazz will be without Jaren Jackson Jr. and Keyonte George for this matchup. Portland is currently 2-0 against Utah this season.
Here are my favorite prop bets for tonight’s Trail Blazers-Jazz contest.
Brice Sensabaugh 18+ Points (-143)
Over the last 14 games, Brice Sensabaugh has been a key contributor for the Jazz, averaging 18 points per game in that span. Sensabaugh has scored at least 18 points in three of his last five contests and 10 of 14.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, you can get Sensabaugh to record 18+ points at -143. With so many Jazz players injured, Sensabaugh has stepped up and become one of their most consistent offensive players. In two of the Jazz’s last three matchups against the Blazers at home, Sensabaugh has scored 21-plus points.
Donovan Clingan Over 1.5 Blocks (-107)
Donovan Clingan is having a good second season, averaging 11.4 points, 11.4 rebounds, two assists, and 1.4 blocks per contest. Since Clingan’s scoring and rebounding have been inconsistent at times, let’s look at a different area to back him. In February, Clingan has been affecting the game at an elite level with blocks.
Clingan has recorded over 1.5 blocks in five of his previous six contests. Getting Clingan at -107 to total at least two blocks is an excellent value play considering his upside in this area. In February, Clingan is fourth in the NBA in blocks per game with 2.3. The Jazz allow 5.9 blocks per game, the second most in the NBA.
Veteran guard Jrue Holiday is having an excellent February for the Blazers. Holiday averages 18.4 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game this month. In that span, Holiday is shooting 50 percent from the field, 43.3 percent from three-point range, and 91.7 percent from the free-throw line.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Holiday is -111 to record 27+ points, rebounds, and assists against the Jazz. Holiday has hit this mark in his last four games, scoring 20-plus points in three of them. In the past 10 games against the Jazz, Holiday has totaled at least 27 points, rebounds, and assists six times.
